Thank you for your enquiry regarding Christmas tree left at the entrance to Grovelands Park
We have changed the way we collect Christmas trees from the park entrances and are working collaboratively with our colleagues in waste and utilizing dust carts that collect green waste from our residents due to this scheme becoming more popular. We were struggling to cope with the sheer volume of Christmas trees that have been deposited in the parks. These particular areas you have highlighted were identified by a parks supervisor and a request was emailed on Monday 20/1/2025 to the relevant officer in waste to have these removed. We will ask to the parks supervisor to check if this has been undertaken.

Can I please ask for the entrances of Grovelands Park where wynchgate, broad walk and bourne hill are to have all the christmas trees removed. They are all packed at the entrances. There are gates at all the roads mentioned above. Thanks.
