Thank you for your enquiry regarding electric vehicle charging points (EVCP).
Enfield Council is committed to supporting the transition to more sustainable transport options, including enabling residents to switch to electric vehicles. Since May 2022, we have installed three EVCPs as part of our initial rollout.
We are now in the final stages of a procurement process that will enable the delivery of 1,000 new charging points on the public highway. This ambitious expansion will significantly increase access to EVCP across the borough, helping to make electric vehicle ownership more convenient for residents and visitors.

Can I please enquire how many electric car charging points have been installed since 2020 by the local authority? Can the department also confrim they are still working to their target of installing 1,000 more between 2022-2026? Thank you
