This is in response to residents asking why the illegal stall was allowed to trade outside the former Cynergy Bank. Glad the department immediately dispatched officers and got the issue resolved. Hopefully wont happen again.

Thank you for your enquiry on behalf of your constituent Deborah Marshall regarding street trading outside Cypriot Bank along Chase Side N14.
My colleague George Hoare visited the location on Friday 14th February 2025 on my behalf as I was on annual leave and spoke to the perpetrators that were about to set up on site to trade. The perpetrators apologised to my colleague and got back in the hirer vehicle they arrived at the location.
The perpetrators did not return to the location after my colleague spoke to them.
