World End Lane- Highlands Village,
I have learnt that the council have decided to install a new CCTV post on the roundabout of the above mentioned address, Worlds End Lane and Tressilian Avenue.
Can I please be informed why the relevant people made this decision and what contributed to it?
Can I please ask why this was decided given that council money for this type of expenditure is already almost zero?

The cameras were requested following the Community Safety Unit received reports of the following issues in the area.
- drug dealing / taking
- youth disorder
- cars causing a nuisance
These incidents were investigated and in order to assist with addressing the reported, cameras were believed to help.
