Please note that some works are scheduled over the next 2 nights at Southgate Circus. Advanced warning signs have been in place.
The report from the trial period of the Fox Lane Area Quieter Neighbourhood project recommended some short term measures at Southgate Circus with the aim of improving traffic flow. These were recommended following a review of Southgate Circus carried out during the trial period of the project. The below works are due to take place shortly:
- Keep clear markings at the entries into Southgate Circus from The Bourne and High Street
- Extending the right turn pocket into Crown Lane on the southbound High Street exit
The construction team are due to be on-site tonight and tomorrow night progressing with the implementation by doing night shifts – this will minimise the disruption caused.
