As the capital budgets have now been approved, we are raising an order to remove an old redundant crossover at Chase road and install bollards to prevent illegal footway parking. As shown in the image below.
As Chase Way is a much larger area and would require 20 bollards to protect it, we are looking at installing planters to protect the footpath which will reduce the amount of bollards required. Due to the reduced budget this year, we are awaiting estimates for other committed schemes so we can insure we are getting value for money for the Council in our approach in solving the issues at Chase Way. I should be able to update you further in the next couple of weeks.
In addition to this, below are the amount of PCN’s that have been issued in Chase Way this year so far:
