Junction of Chaseville Park Road and Eversley Park Road- MEQ

Dear Cllr Stephanos Ioannou,

Thank you for your enquiry regarding the wooded triangle at the junction of Chaseville Park Road and Eversley Park Road.

A Senior Horticultural Officer has responded to inform you that they will be carrying out a site investigation, to establish the repair works required to the white knee rail. An order will be placed with our contractor to programme the repairs to the timber fence this may take 4-6 weeks to completed.

The group of trees are managed as part of our highways tree stock and an inspection will be undertaken to identify if any remedial tree works are required. Work will only be recommended if there is an obstruction to the public highway or there is a manageable risk of falling trees or branches.

I hope this is of assistance.

Yours sincerely,
Arboricultural Officer

Original enquiry description:

Good evening department, I’ve just gone past Chaseville Park Road at the junction with Eversley Park Road and that triangle where the white barrier is it in quite a bad condition. Is there any prospect of the white barrier actually being repaired at all and is there any chance of the trees could actually be trimmed because it seems very unorganised very untidy. The barrier is in a bit of a mess and it just makes the area look really unpleasant. Thank you
