Dear Cllr Stephanos Ioannou,

Thank you for your enquiry regarding Ashfield Parade, N14.

The Councils parking contractor, NSL, is aware of the parking issues in this location. Regular enforcement visits are being carried out, and 91 Penalty Charge Notices have been issued this month.

NSL will continue to monitor the area and issue PCNs to any vehicles found parked in contravention.

Can I please ask what is going on now again with Ashfield Parade, it is clear that the ticketing has become relaxed again and that people are parking in the old nuisance way. Can we please ask for more enforcement?

    Install cameras to punish offenders
    Install bollards in the taxi rank to deter offenders
    People want action not consultation

      Hi Panico, the taxi rank is actually managed and maintained by Transport for London. However, there are plans to get it either removed or re-modified in the future and we keep on asking Transport for London to remove it entirely. Regarding cameras this used to be allowed, however you are not allowed to ticket anymore an issue a PCN for illegal parking via a camera it has to be via a warden direct on the ground. I would’ve also preferred a camera, but this is not allowed throughout London.
