This is in response to the Southgate Hostel application mentioning the speed limit was 20mph for Chase Side. Turns out the applicant did not know it was 30mph….

My records, on behalf of Enfield Council, agree with the advice reported to have been issued from TfL. The full length of A111 Chase Side (i.e. between Cat Hill Roundabout and Southgate Circus) is subject to a 30mph speed limit.
