Apologies I’ve been a while getting back to you.  XXXX (Operations Manager – Street Scene) sent me the message below earlier in March:

• When we attended numerous flooding reports last year there was one gully in Crown Lane that we could only partially clean due to parked vehicles and restricted access, I believe this to be the one referred to in the complaint.  However the team re-visited this last week and were able to clean this gully fully. I will ask for this area to be monitored when we have rainfall to see if the flooding is still an issue

Hopefully this should reduce the risk of further flooding.  If there are any future issues it’s probably best if you got straight to XXXX.
