Thank you for your enquiries regarding ongoing waste issues at three areas in Southgate.
I will be providing the responses for MEQ 101002013309 and 101002013314 as part of this response.
Enforcement Officers monitor Chase Side N14 and the surrounding locality and have been asked to keep an eye on the waste near to the old Maze Inn, by the Police Station and along Chase Side.
Drop in visits have been made to some of the businesses along Crown Lane regarding their Commercial Waste, to ensure they have an appropriate contract in place.
Any waste found by officers will be searched for evidence and formal enforcement action taken where sufficient evidence allows. Officers have been asked to refer back to me on any commercial waste findings, so that the business/businesses can be followed up with accordingly.
