Dear Department,
I am growing very frustrated now with the way in which the department are clearly not acting on promises to trim the hedges and shrubbs along the Oakwood Estate in Southgate N14.

It is completely unacceptable the way in which the department use the excuse of not trimming due to enviromental legistlation that it may cause harm to the habitat. It is now the begining of December and residents are being forced to walk in the middle of the road as they cannot get past on the pavements- shame on the department. Can I please get an ETA of when the works will be completed and can I also have a list date by date when the roads have been done. I need to cross check now. If this isnt actioned before the end of the year I will be meeting the Cheif Executive to raise concerns about how many times this issue has been raised and particularly these roads.

Thank you for making contact with me and sharing your current level of frustration through lack of action on your simple request.
I can confirm that the roads stated will be attended leading up to and into the new year if required. At present I am unable to provide you with a chronological list of works schedule, as I have not met with responsible manager. Once meeting, has occurred, I will email you the list and copy in the responsible managers, allowing for regular updates.
There is legislation, which removes any works from a period of March through to August, which is no longer presents an issue for the works to be completed.
