Thank you for your enquiry in relation to what appears to be an illegal conversion of a garage into a residential dwelling at Raleigh Way. An officer visited today (28/5/24), taken photographs and referred the matter to colleagues in planning and private sector housing. An officer from waste enforcement will also be contacting the landowner.

I would like to report a problem in Raleigh Way ,Wynchgate to Winchmore Hill Road leading to Marks and Spencer . There is a garage that has been converted into living accommodation illegally as there is no planning permission for this conversion . They leave there rubbish outside and as they are not collected they are spread all over the place It is an eyesore and health hazard for the area. I would appreciate it if you could take it further with the council as a matter of urgency. Waiting for your response kind regards
