Thank you for your MEQ regarding the condition of the playground at Ivy Road Open Space, including the broken play equipment and ongoing litter issues.

We can confirm that the playground has been scheduled within the programme of works for the third quarter of 2026, at which point the outstanding issues with the equipment will be addressed.

To help manage litter more effectively, we will be removing the older smaller bins and installing two double bins at the park entrances. This is intended to accommodate the excess litter generated in the park and improve overall cleanliness.
