Thank you for your enquiry regarding the area of green land adjacent to your property at Mayfield Avenue, N14 6DU. I appreciate the concerns you have raised and the opportunity to clarify the position.

Following initial checks, the grassed verge and the trees located within this strip of land were identified as untitled and not owned nor managed by Enfield. I extend an apology for the misdirection as, on further investigation, the area has been identified as being under the remit of Enfield Council Housing. We are in the process of updating our records to reflect.

I acknowledge that earlier information you received may have caused some uncertainty, and I am sorry for any confusion this may have caused.

To ensure the matter is properly reviewed, arrangements are now being initiated for both the verge and the arboreal assets to be inspected by the relevant Council teams. This will allow us to confirm their condition, management requirements and any necessary maintenance actions.

You have also raised concerns regarding the apparent fencing of part of this land by a neighbouring property owner. Our investigation indicate the land is under title and privately owned.
