Response details:
Dear Cllr Stephanos Ioannou,
Thank you for your enquiry regarding vegetation overgrowth on the Oakwood Estate.
We are aware of the issues affecting visibility at junctions and the encroachment of vegetation onto footways and roadways.
Unfortunately, all of our major shrub maintenance areas across the borough are currently experiencing similar issues. The current schedule shows that works in this area are due to commence on 28 August. At this time, we are not proposing to bring this date forward. However, should our teams complete their programmed works in other locations ahead of schedule, they may be able to attend this area sooner.
Kind regards,
Service Support Officer

Original enquiry description:
Hi Team
We have a real issue with the Oakwood Estate, namely:
The Vale
Fountains Crescent
Oakwood Park Road
Tintern Gardens
Crowland Gardens
St. Thomas Road
All roads have serious visual issues when coming out of the road on to the main road that is Winchmore Hill Road.
Can I please ask for an ETA when this will be attended to, as I have also been there recently and the space really is overgrown meaning pavements are extreemly narrow and un-walkable and hedges leaning into the road and again reducing vision
Thanks
