MEQ- Parking and Traffic Enforcement Response Eversley School

Case Reference: 101000096332

Thank you for your email regarding parking problems near Eversley Primary School, N21.

I can confirm that regular visits are made to this school and since the beginning of the year over 40 Penalty Charge Notices have been issued.

NSL, the Council’s parking contractor will be requested to make extra visits to Chaseville Park Road and Oakwood Crescent after half term and any vehicle seen parked illegally on the yellow lines, school zig zags or footway will be issued with a Penalty Charge Notice.

Enforcement of an obstruction of a driveway can only take place if the resident of the property calls at the time of contravention and provides their name, address, telephone number and details of the offending vehicle. In these situations NSL should be called on 020 3856 0036 at the time of contravention and if the vehicle is still obstructing when the officer attends a Penalty Charge Notice will be issued and vehicle possibly removed.

Any requests to have a school included in the new School Streets Scheme should be emailed to the Healthy Streets team at ‘healthystreets@enfield.gov.uk’ who implemented the scheme.

I hope this is of information.
