Southgate is located within Zone 1 of the enforcement beat plan which includes the areas of Southgate, Arnos Grove and Palmers Green.
Zone 1 has four on foot Civil Enforcement Officers assigned to patrol Southgate, Southgate CPZ, Cockfosters and Palmers Green, who are deployed daily from 7.30am to 6.30pm (with an hour lunch break).
In addition, three mobile CEOs also patrol zone 1 responding to enforcement requests and priority areas that vary depending on what has been received as well as enforcement of the controlled parking zones and P&D bays.
The night patrol team starts at 12pm until midnight with 3 vehicles (6 CEOS) across the whole borough. They will respond to enforcement requests and visit priority areas. Within Zone 1, Ashfield Parade and the Controlled Parking Zones are priority locations, with footway parking and obstruction of dropped kerbs taking priority for requests received from members of the public.
This deployment can vary depending on resources available for that day.
Due to the recent increase in CEO deployment across the borough, there will be a review in due course to establish if there is a further requirement for more additional officers.

Can the department pelase clarify the rota for Southgate traffic wardens? When do they patrol the area? How often in terms of days/ How many hours a day do they patrol the ward? Which roads are their priority?
