Thanks for your report i have sent your request for CCTV on to the manager EZH as i have seen in the dairy that a meeting is taken place next week about locations for CCTV to be placed all request are part of a bidding process.
And i am sure consideration will be given to this request their was a walkabout last year by the following officers ANE FES and i ABU AND Fixed Penalty Notice were issued on that time.
I am sure my manager EZH will inform the ward officer FES of your concerns when they return to work and any outcome about the CCTV

Tudor Way, London N14 6PS, since 2019. Recently, we have started to see a rat problem emerge around Tudor way due poor management of residential and commercial waste, as well as flying tipping by local businesses and public. I am emailing you to inform you of how bad it is and that something needs to be done. Currently it’s a hygiene issue for the local food businesses who have open back doors from there kitchens, leading to the bins and today I have had a car breakdown which was due to a rat nesting in my car and eating away my alternator. Last week a rat was seen dead on the parking area and the last 2 weeks multiple sightings of rats have been seen daily. I urge you to help with finding a solution in improving the rubbish collection and securing better management of waste.
My initial thoughts are that we need CCTV near the bins and daily cleaning of the space around the bins and private carpark. More fines should be implemented on businesses who overfill bins and keep them open and who don’t keep their back entrance ways clean. Residents also need a better place set up for their rubbish so that it cannot be accessed by the businesses or flytippers. It was not like this when we first moved here but the neglect from Enfield council at not addressing the issue has become a public safety concern. From today I will be building evidence on what is and isn’t been done to resolve the issue and I will be continuing to highlight the issue until there is significant long-term solutions which improve the cleanliness and safety of the area.
