Pine Close- Yellow Lines- MEQ

Response details:

Dear Cllr Stephanos Ioannou,

Thank you for forwarding on the comments regarding the remarking of the parking restrictions around Pine close N14.

The Councils Liners will return to compete the lines, however, from the picture provided it looks like this area will need to be cleaned and the bushes will also need to be cut back before all the lines can remarked. We will arrange for this work to be completed; the liners will return after this point and finish the lines. We ask that residents bear with us during this time.

For now, NSL will continue to patrol and issue Penalty Charge notices to any cars seen parked illegally.

Should residents require enforcement please advise them to contact Parking Services directly on 0208 379 6406 which is operational Monday to Friday 9.00am-12 noon, out of office hours and at weekends you can contact the council parking contractor NSL Services Ltd directly on 0203 856 0036 Mon Sun 7am 7pm, please press option 1 for enforcement.

They can also email en01.communications@nslservices.co.uk and an enforcement officer will be assigned a visit.

Regards

Original enquiry description:

Just to let you know, the yellow lines have been partially repainted in Pine Close, Southgate. Unfortunately, where there is overgrown vegetation, they have not painted the lines ? perhaps they are going to come back? My concern is that where the lines have not been repainted, it may convey the message that cars can park there! This would cause vehicle chaos in a small cul-de-sac! I attach a photo to show the problem.

Please can you investigate with the appropriate Council department
