A response point by point please:
- When can we expect tinsel covered lampposts around Southgate in time for Christmas
- When can we expect a similar Christmas ball-balls on the Southgate roundabout, similar to the one at Edmonton Green.
- When can we expect hanging decorations going across the high street roads, similar to that at Enfield Town.
- When can we expect some lights on our Christmas tree at Southgate.
- Will the tree be straightened instead of left slanted.

Please see below a point by point answer to your enquiry.
- When can we expect tinsel covered lampposts around Southgate in time for Christmas, There are no further plans to install more festive decorations in Southgate.
- When can we expect a similar Christmas ball-balls on the Southgate roundabout, similar to the one at Edmonton Green. Edmonton Green Christmas Tree is funded and Installed by the Owners/Management Company of the shopping centre.
- When can we expect hanging decorations going across the high street roads, similar to that at Enfield Town. Cross Street decorations in Enfield Town and Palmers Green are a legacy of the match funding project of business and traders last year
- When can we expect some lights on our Christmas tree at Southgate. Should be installed by now or are imminent to be done.
- Will the tree be straightened instead of left slanted. Thank you for letting us know, it will be straightened as soon as I can get a crew there.
The main explanation is that the areas which actively canvas for Xmas decorations and offer to invest some of their own funds to the small council budget tend receive more attention than other areas. Yours is the only enquiry I have received regarding Christmas at Southgate. I have carried out the same installation as has been done over the last few years, since the Festive Lighting budget was drastically cut.
