Thank you for your enquiry regarding trees in Hounsden Road and The Spinney.
I can inform you that I have undertaken a site inspection and spoken to your constituent.
The tree that has been removed from the grass verge on Hounsden Road was standing dead, so it was important that we remove the tree to remove any danger to the public highway. There is a standing dead tree in The Spinney to the rear of the houses in Hounsden Road which had previously been identified for removal, these works are to be competed by our In House Tree Team in due course. Two trees will be planted on Hounsden Road to replace the tree recently removed.
