As your local Councillor, I believe in being transparent, accountable and proactive in representing residents. This page provides a record of the enquiries I have submitted to Enfield Council on behalf of local people, together with the responses received from Council officers.
These enquiries cover a wide range of issues affecting our community, from highways, planning and environmental concerns to housing, public safety and local services. By publishing them, residents can see the work being carried out on their behalf and stay informed about the action I am taking to resolve local issues and hold the Council to account.
I update this page regularly to ensure it reflects my ongoing casework and the latest responses from the Council.
What is an MEQ?
MEQ stands for Member Enquiry. This is the formal process through which elected councillors raise issues directly with Council officers on behalf of residents. Member Enquiries are an essential part of ensuring concerns are investigated, appropriate action is taken and the Council remains accountable for the services it provides.
Under the Council’s service standards, responses to Member Enquiries are expected within eight working days, enabling councillors to provide timely updates and continue pressing for solutions where necessary.
